Ethics isn’t abstract. It’s a room full of senior leaders choosing to be challenged.
Cranlana doesn’t trade in credentials. They trade in transformation.
The Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership runs some of Australia’s most demanding leadership development programs — the Cranlana Colloquium, the Vincent Fairfax Fellowship, the Public Sector Leadership program. Selective intakes. Small cohorts. Immersive, residential, peer-led. For over 30 years, the organisation’s reputation has been built almost entirely on what happens inside those rooms — and the word-of-mouth of the people who leave them.
The challenge wasn’t finding something compelling to say about Cranlana. It was finding a way to say it that matched the weight of what they do. Their programs don’t scale through promotion. They scale through the people who go through them.
Be in the room. Let the participants do the talking.
We joined Cranlana across two significant events: the Public Sector Leadership Colloquium and the Vincent Fairfax Fellowship graduation. The brief wasn’t to produce promotional content. It was to document something real — the testimony of senior leaders mid-cohort, profiles of facilitators, and the human texture of a graduation that genuinely meant something to the people in it.
We built the production around presence, not performance. That’s the only way to make content that holds up against the standard Cranlana has spent three decades setting.
“The hardest brief is when the product sells itself and your job is to not get in the way. Ethical leadership programs don’t need a hype reel. They need a room and a camera that knows when to stay still.”

The work stood on its own.
Cranlana operates in a world where value is felt over years, not measured in weeks. What the film captured was something more durable than a metric — senior leaders on camera, choosing to articulate why this kind of development matters. For an organisation that has shaped over 4,000 Australians across three decades, the content needed to hold up to that legacy.
Cranlana trusted us with the room. What do you need trusted with?
